The Seattle Solar Home Tour is happening this Saturday, September 21, and several Central District homes will be featured, including one in Madison Valley. Mia Devine and Chris Henderson's home, located at 1830 MLK Jr Way, features both a solar hot water and a solar electric system. Combined with other energy-efficiency measures, the solar system produces nearly 100% of their annual energy needs. The system includes micro-inverters, which allow real-time display of power production from each solar panel.
